Originally built in 1874 as Ojai’s first schoolhouse, Lavender Inn blends historic charm with modern comforts. Each of our eight uniquely decorated rooms has its own character, while the spacious 1,000-square-foot Provence Cottage offers a fireplace, separate living room, kitchenette, and French doors opening to a private garden—an ideal setting for a secluded escape.

We’re delighted to introduce the Pixie House, a private two-bedroom, two-bath retreat designed for comfort and relaxation, with ADA-compliant accessibility features. Featuring a fully equipped kitchen, a welcoming living room with fireplace, a dining area with charming window seats, three TVs, and a private backyard, the Pixie House offers all the comforts of home with the charm of a peaceful Ojai getaway. Perfect for families, couples traveling together, or friends seeking a little extra space and privacy.

We’re excited to be creating a beautiful new pool area with a bar, adding another inviting space to relax, unwind, and enjoy the Ojai sunshine during your stay.

Begin your day with a continental breakfast featuring freshly baked treats from our in-house baker, Rhys, and unwind in the evening with complimentary wine on our veranda overlooking tranquil gardens, fountains, and a pond.
