CABBI Gift Certificate Program
Thank you for supporting California’s independent inns and boutique lodging properties over the years. We’re grateful to everyone who has shared the gift of travel through the CABBI Gift Certificate Program.
As of November 20, 2025, Boutique Hotels of California (formerly the California Association of Boutique & Breakfast Inns – CABBI) discontinued the program, and new association gift certificates are no longer available for sale. However, existing gift certificates remain valid and may still be redeemed.
If You Currently Hold a CABBI Gift Certificate:
- Your gift certificate does not expire and retains its full value until redeemed.
- Certificates may be redeemed at participating Boutique Hotels of California member properties.
- Balances under $10 may be redeemed for cash upon request, as required by California law.
Because participation and redemption policies may vary by property, we recommend contacting your chosen hotel in advance to confirm acceptance before booking your stay.

Important Notes:
- Not all member hotels accept association gift certificates. Click here to view participating hotels.
- Gift certificates are treated as cash and cannot be replaced if lost, stolen, or destroyed.
- Certificates may only be redeemed at active, participating member properties, regardless of purchase or booking date.
- Individual hotel policies apply, including restrictions on availability, packages, or special offers. Acceptance of promotions or packages is at the discretion of each participating hotel.
