Experience the Harvest Season in Los Olivos
Fall is one of the most beautiful—and lively—times to visit Los Olivos. At the Fess Parker Wine Country Inn, guests can settle into the relaxed pace of wine country while experiencing the magic of harvest and some of the community’s most beloved annual events.
Throughout October, the Los Olivos Scarecrow Fest brings a playful touch to town, with creative scarecrows displayed throughout the community and visitors invited to stroll through Los Olivos and vote for their favorites. The season also brings Day in the Country on October 10, an annual celebration that fills downtown Los Olivos with local vendors, food, live entertainment and family-friendly activities.
Wine lovers can also experience the Los Olivos Wine Festival on October 10, featuring local wineries pouring in the heart of town. With the Fess Parker Wine Country Inn located just steps from the festivities, guests can enjoy the best of the event and then easily retreat back to the Inn.
This fall, Fess Parker Winery, located a short drive from the Inn, will also host two intimate Harvest Lunch experiences on September 18 and October 23. Guests will begin with a guided tasting in the winery’s barrel room before sitting down to a seasonal, harvest-inspired lunch at the winery. With limited seating, these special events offer an opportunity to experience harvest firsthand and explore the wines of the season in an intimate setting.
