Spring and summer bring vibrant growth to the 2,200-acre Inn at Newport Ranch on the Mendocino Coast. The Spring & Summer Foraging Experience includes 10% savings on a two-night stay, a four-hour guided UTV tour to forage seasonal plants and mushrooms, lunch, and a dinner inspired by your discoveries. Guests also receive mushroom logs to inoculate and take home.

Spring Whale Migration
With 2200 pristine acres to explore and more than a mile and a half of private bluff front, there’s no better place to spot the annual migrating gray whales than where the continental shelf drops dramatically right off our coastline. It is not uncommon to spot whales 50 yards from our sea cliffs as they travel north with their calves through the end of April. Bring your binoculars and blanket (or borrow ours) and snuggle up for an afternoon of watching the water and waiting to wave at the passing whales with their offspring. Upon returning to the Inn, unwind from the afternoon outing with house-signature Gray Whale cocktails by our cozy stone fireplace at the Main Inn followed by dinner for two each night. Also enjoy a 10% savings off your room rate.
