A Historic Retreat Above the Klamath River
In the heart of Northern California’s Redwood National Park, the Historic Requa Inn offers a peaceful retreat on the banks of the Klamath River, just a mile from the ocean. Housed in a 1914 Arts and Crafts–style lodge, the inn offers 15 comfortable guest rooms furnished with antiques and claw-foot bathtubs. While there are no televisions or phones, the rooms offer views of the river, the forest, and the wildlife. Mornings begin with a hearty breakfast before setting out to explore nearby beaches and the trails winding through towering redwood forests and fern-lined canyons.
