Ferndale

Nearby, the Victorian village of Ferndale is a picture-perfect vintage postcard. Historic Main Street is lined with ornate 19th-century storefronts, boutique shops, and colorful, gingerbread-trimmed buildings. Nestled between the redwoods and the fabled Lost Coast, Ferndale offers easy access to the towering trees along the Avenue of the Giants and wild, uncrowded beaches.

Strewn with large logs and driftwood, as a hazy morning clears to bue skies. Hidden Beach is a small cove beach in Redwood National Park, Del Norte County, Northern California. It is tucked away below a tree-covered hillside near the town of Klamath. This is a wonderful beach with huge rocks in the surf and driftwood logs piled up at the back of the beach.
