The Eden

Davenport Roadhouse Inn

The Davenport Roadhouse is a Restaurant and Inn of 9 rooms , a store featuring local handcrafted artisan creations and a center of activities for guests and the local community. We are a beacon for travelers from near and far looking to make a quick stop for a delicious to-go meal or picnic, or for others staying a while to get back to nature and enjoy healthy and hearty food — all enjoyed at their own pace.

Our guest rooms have been carefully designed with the environment and your health in mind — from the decor that reflects the beauty of the natural surroundings — to the materials used to construct, decorate, and furnish the rooms. We are committed to being responsible stewards of the environment, and use green building practices wherever possible. The Inn is located above the Restaurant. All rooms located in the inn are connected by a wrap-around veranda, reminiscent of old California, and with rocking chairs to take in the ocean views.  All rooms feature artwork from local artists and historical photos.

Offering either a patio or balcony, a majority of the hotel’s guest rooms grant ocean views. Each room also has a living room area with a beautiful fireplace.  Whether for a business retreat or a romantic getaway, all accommodations invite a sense of relaxation on the Northern California coast.

For the outdoor enthusiasts who enjoys all of the beach and recreational activities available in Northern California, the Beach House Hotel is in the center of the action. The seven mile path in front of the hotel stretches along Half Moon Bay perfect for bikers, joggers, walkers, roller bladers and more. Or get in the water and kayak or Stand Up Paddle Board in Pillar Point Harbor with a rental kayak from the Half Moon Bay Kayak Co. And for the adventurous, world famous surfing spots including Maverick’s are just steps away. Inn at Mavericks

Located in the seaside village of Princeton-by-the-Sea, just a few minutes north of historic Half Moon Bay California, The Inn at Mavericks is nestled on a small bluff overlooking the picturesque working Pillar Point Harbor, and the Pacific Ocean. A fog horn can be heard assuring all vessels safe travels into and out of the harbor. Each of our six spacious suites provides unobstructed panoramic views of the harbor and ocean beyond.
