Featherbed Railroad Bed & Breakfast offers vintage caboose cabin lodging on the shores of Clear Lake in the heart of Northern California’s scenic Lake County Wine Country. Featuring nine uniquely themed caboose cabins set across a peaceful, park-like property, every stay is designed to be memorable, comfortable, and unlike anywhere else.
Guests can enjoy lake views, a private pier, beach area, spacious lawns, outdoor fire tables, lawn games, seasonal swimming pool, and complimentary use of kayaks, paddleboards, and bicycles for exploring the natural beauty of the property and surrounding lake. The historic Train Depot serves as the heart of the experience, where guests gather for warm breakfast each morning in a cozy dining room with a stone fireplace, or relax on the front porch complete with seasonal heaters and comfortable seating.
In recent years, thoughtful upgrades have enhanced every stay, including new beds, fresh linens, Smart TVs, coffee makers, on demand water heaters and updated heating and cooling systems. Full Wi-Fi is available throughout the property, and we proudly welcome both families and dogs.

San Benito House Historic Inn
Built in 1905 the San Benito House Historic Inn is located in the heart of downtown Half Moon Bay and one mile from Half Moon Bay State Beach. The newly remodeled Inn features four Luxury Suites, two Junior Suites, and one Family Suite. Each room provides modern amenities coupled with Victorian era decor including classical brass fixtures throughout.
The downstairs includes two dining options, our Garden Deli and Cantina. The Garden Deli is widely known for having the best sandwiches on the coast. It’s no secret to the many locals and travelers who line the sidewalk on a daily basis. The difference is the homemade bread, offered in three varieties, freshly baked every morning. The Cantina features craft beer, tequila, & Mexican Fare located within one of the oldest buildings in Half Moon Bay. The atmosphere is fun, and the service is warm and friendly. For decades the San Benito House has been one of the premier locations in Half Moon Bay to host a Wedding or Private Party. Offering a gardened backyard, patio, deck, fireplace, and outdoor bar the setting is truly special. Recently remodeled, and replanted, the backyard provides the perfect setting for any event. Ample grass, flowers, and plenty of charm this space is quite versatile. Complete with seating, and a patio, this space can be rented on its own or in conjunction with the deck.

Inn at the Pinnacles is a highly unique destination tucked away in the Gabilan Mountains of Monterey County. The Inn is located just 5 minutes from the West Entrance of Pinnacles National Park, which offers opportunities for hiking, bird watching, rock climbing and picnicking.

At Pine Rose, you can get the best of both worlds! All of our cabins are private homes and include fully equipped kitchens. Like a hotel, we have a wonderful team ready to welcome you and help with any needs you may have. We offer amenities like an outdoor spa all year and a seasonal pool, play areas, and a small sled run in the winter. Some of the cabins are even pet-friendly!
